Refund policy

Please carefully read Black Cat Fiction’s Return, Refund, Cancellation and No Resale Policy before making a purchase.

Returns & Refunds

  • Product refunds are given for damaged packages upon the return of damaged products, however shipping fees are non-refundable

  • Returns are accepted for physical products in new, unused condition within 14 days of delivery.

  • To initiate a return, please contact us with your order number. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Once your return is received and inspected, you will be refunded the product cost only. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • If your order arrived damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. Once the damaged product is returned and inspected, a refund will be issued for the cost of the product. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • Lost Orders

    • Product refunds are given for lost packages, once an investigation has been initiated by the consumer with the shipping provider has not been able to locate the package.

    • Shipping fees are non-refundable

Returns and Refunds for ARC’s and PR Boxes

  • Due to limited stock, ARC’s and PR boxes cannot be replaced if they arrive damaged.

  • We do our best to package everything up to withstand the rough handling typical of most mail carriers, however, with increased border restrictions, more and more packages are being opened and poorly repacked at the border. This is beyond our control, however, if your product arrives damaged, please contact us within fourteen days of receival with photos of the damage and we will work with you to make it right and provide a refund for the product.

Black Cat Fiction’s No Resale Policy

  • Any limited stock items like ARC’s and PR boxes fall under our no resale policy.

  • This means that anyone caught purchasing multiples of these products and selling online at a markup will be at risk of a permanent ban from ordering future product.

  • Future orders may be cancelled without warning if our team is notified of resales discovered in online book groups/mercuri/ebay or any other market-based platforms.

Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled if they have not yet shipped. Once a tracking number is issued, the order is final and must go through the returns process.
